Kaiser Permanente President and COO To Step Down in July
Kaiser Permanente President and Chief Operating Officer L. Dale Crandall will resign in July, the Los Angeles Times reports. Crandall joined Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals in 1998. According to Kaiser spokesperson Beverly Hayson, Crandall's departure is "not unexpected." George Halvorson, who in May replaced Dr. David Lawrence as chair and chief executive, will take over the duties of president. Crandall has not indicated his future plans (Los Angeles Times, 6/14).
