Kern County Report Card Shows Improvement in Children’s Health Coverage, Vaccinations

Nine out of 10 children in Kern County had health insurance in 2013, according to the county's annual report card released on Wednesday. In addition, the report card shows that the percentage of fully vaccinated children starting kindergarten in Kern County exceeded the statewide rate of 90.4%.
