L.A. Calls for 700 Additional Nurses To Meet ACA Goals
On Wednesday, Los Angeles County Department of Health Services officials said more than 700 additional nurses are needed to maintain the county's health care system under the Affordable Care Act. Officials said the new hires are necessary to improve care quality and reduce wait times, as called for by the ACA.
