L.A. County Launches Effort To Curb Childhood Obesity

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has launched a new campaign aimed at curbing childhood obesity by encouraging families to drink water instead of sugary beverages. In addition to the new campaign, health officials are working to boost the nutritional quality of food offered on campuses and including more play time during the school day.
