Lawsuit Against Blue Shield of California Dismissed
On Thursday, a federal judge dismissed a class-action lawsuit against Blue Shield of California and several other Blues plans alleging that they inflated profits by systematically underpaying physicians. The judge ruled that the complaint failed to provide adequate evidence of a conspiracy to constitute a violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
