New L.A. County Campaign Targets Rising Obesity Rates
On Thursday, Los Angeles county officials launched a public health campaign, called "Choose Less, Weigh Less," to target the county's rising obesity rate and raise awareness about the importance of portion control and limiting calorie intake. Officials said the obesity epidemic is costing the county $6 billion annually in lost productivity and health care expenses.
