Number of Cancer-Related Deaths Expected To Climb
The U.S. cancer death rate is declining, although the overall number of cancer deaths is increasing because of an aging population, according to a CDC report published in Preventing Chronic Disease. The researchers estimated that between 2007 and 2020 cancer deaths will increase by more than 10% among men and black women and less than 5% among white women.
