Nursing Home Hit With Fine After Recent Patient Death

The California Department of Public Health issued an AA citation and a $100,000 fine to Hemet Valley Healthcare Center for circumstances surrounding a resident's death in 2007. A DPH spokesperson said the facility has submitted a correction plan.
