Nursing Shortage Could Grow More Serious as Many Nurses Retire
Hospitals could face more serious challenges finding nurses in the coming decades as more nurses retire and change jobs, American Public Media's "Marketplace" reports.
Although hospitals currently face a nurse shortage of between 8% and 10%, the shortage could grow to 30% by 2020, according to Robert Rosseter of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.
