Organization Releases Plan To Curb U.S. Health Spending
On Wednesday, the Center for American Progress released an 11-point plan to contain national health spending without shifting costs to patients. The plan includes strategies such as encouraging states to set targets for overall health care spending and expanding competitive bidding in Medicare. It was published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
