Panel OKs Bill With Provision To Block Medicaid Rules
The Senate Appropriations Committee on Thursday approved a $193 billion supplemental war appropriations bill that includes a provision to block for one year seven new Medicaid regulations proposed by the Bush administration, as well as additional funds for FDA. The committee also unanimously approved an amendment that would block for one year a State Children's Health Insurance Program policy directive announced last year by the administration.
