Pelosi Calls ACA a ‘Winner’ Despite Potential Drawbacks
Last week, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) described the Affordable Care Act as a "winner," despite the possibility that its provisions could increase premiums for some consumers and jeopardize Democratic politicians' campaigns. She added that lawmakers should "weigh [the law's] value as to what it means to the health, well-being, economic and health security of America's families."
