Poll: Majority of U.S. Residents Believe Medicare Should Cover End-of-Life Planning
About 80% of U.S. residents say Medicare should cover end-of-life planning conversations between patients and their physicians, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation's September Health Tracking Poll. According to the poll, 81% of respondents said Medicare should cover end-of-life discussions between physicians and patients and 83% said private insurers should cover them.
