Prescription Drugs
Sen. Jack Scott (D-Pasadena) is carrying legislation (SB 606) that would require pharmaceutical companies to disclose the results of all clinical trials they complete. In cases in which clinical trials are not completed, drug makers would have to explain why the trial was terminated (Bill Text, 5/15). The Senate is considering Scott's measure (Bill Status, 5/15).
