President Bush’s New Freedom Commission on Mental Health Launches New Web Site
President Bush's New Freedom Commission on Mental Health on Monday launched a Web site that will allow members of the public to monitor the first comprehensive study of the U.S. mental health system. The commission is charged with conducting the study, which will analyze private and public providers, and making recommendations on how to improve the system. Through the site, www.MentalHealthCommission.gov, consumers can submit comments about what they believe works and what needs improvement in the mental health system (New Freedom Commission on Mental Health release, 7/8).
