Presidential Campaign Marks Resurgence of Health Care Reform
WBUR's "Here & Now" on Monday included a discussion with Jonathan Oberlander, an associate professor of medicine and health policy at the University of North Carolina, about the role of health care as an issue in the 2008 presidential election.
In the latest edition of the New England Journal of Medicine, Oberlander outlines lessons candidates can learn from past attempts at health care reform, including Democratic candidate Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's (N.Y.) universal health care plan in the 1990s (Young, "Here & Now," WBUR, 11/26).
Audio of the segment is available online.
