AB 1687 by Assembly member Julia Brownley (D-Woodland Hills) would allow health care providers to disclose a minor's medical history to any individual who has legal custody or care of the minor. The measure is intended to coordinate health care services or treatment for the child (Bill Text, 9/4). Gov. Schwarzenegger is considering the bill (Bill Status, 9/28).
