Elaine Alquist (D-Santa Clara) was amended to require state health officials to establish a strategic plan involving the treatment of Alzheimer's disease in California that includes specific recommendations for caring for the illness (Bill Text, 1/29). The Assembly is considering the measure (Bill Status, 1/30).
