Survey Sees Big Increase in Medi-Cal Numbers Since 2000
Although the number of Californians who are uninsured increased only slightly from 2000 to 2008, the percentage of state residents enrolled in Medi-Cal has jumped by more than 25%, according to a California HealthCare Foundation report that also found significant increases in health insurance premiums from 2002 to 2009.
