Report Predicts Rise in Use of Telehealth Technology
The number of U.S. residents using telehealth services is expected to reach nearly 1.3 million by 2017, a nearly sixfold increase over 2012 rates, according to a report by IMS Research. The report predicted that revenue from U.S. telehealth services would increase from $174.5 million in 2012 to $707.9 million in 2017.
