With the passage of national health care reform, San Diego care providers are anticipating how the new law will affect their finances. Hospitals and doctors are concerned about an influx of new patients resulting from the planned Medicaid expansion; accounting for uncompensated care until 2014, when many reform provisions take effect; and the supply of primary care physicians.
