SANTA ANA: Opens Temporary Clinic for Uninsured
The Orange County Health Care Agency begins operation today of a temporary health clinic to "serve the nearly 3,000 residents who had been using two free clinics that closed suddenly last week." The temporary medical facility, which will have a bilingual staff, will be located at the Delhi Community Center in Santa Ana, and is expected to remain open until the end of the month. According to county Supervisor Charles Smith, county officials will be working with several agencies during that time to find a "permanent solution" (Yang, 7/9).
