Schwarzenegger Announces Appointments to Board of Behavioral Sciences
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) on Monday announced several appointments to state boards, including the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Schwarzenegger appointed:
- Gordonna Di Giorgio (R) of Novato, who has been involved in mentoring and counseling programs for women recovering from alcohol and drug addictions. She previously served as operations manager for Shearson American Express.
- Ian Russ (D) of Sherman Oaks, who has a private practice for marriage, family and child therapy and is a mental health consultant for Stephen S. Wise Temple Day Schools. Russ also currently serves on the faculty of the National College of Juvenile and Family Law and the California Center for Judicial Education and Research. He has served as a child development consultant for Bruin Kids and was a visiting professor of psychology at the University of Judaism.
