Schwarzenegger Appoints Three to Board of Registered Nursing
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) on Wednesday announced three appointments to the nine-member Board of Registered Nursing. Schwarzenegger appointed:
- Elizabeth Dietz (R) of Sunnyvale, a nurse practitioner, school nurse and professor at the San Jose State University School of Nursing. Dietz is a member of the American Nurses Association of California and the California School Nurses Association.
- Janice Glaab (R) of Laguna Niguel, chair and CFO of Glaab & Associates, a public affairs consultation business. Glaab is president of the Beta Foster Care Board and is a member of the California Women's Leadership Association and Careways Children's Health Associates.
- Susanne Phillips (R) of Rancho Santa Margarita, an assistant director of the Department of Family Medicine Family Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of California-Irvine. Phillips is a member of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners and the American College of Nurse Practitioners (Office of the Governor release, 8/17).
