Schwarzenegger Blasts GOP for ‘Bogus Talk’ on Health Care Reform
On Monday, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) criticized Republican lawmakers who have called for President Obama to start over on health care reform efforts, the Sacramento Bee reports.
Schwarzenegger dismissed the Republican suggestions as "bogus talk" and "partisan talk."
The governor also endorsed Obama's upcoming bipartisan health care summit.
Earlier this week, Schwarzenegger touted the success of the 2009 federal economic stimulus package (Hotakainen, Sacramento Bee, 2/23).
Schwarzenegger is in Washington, D.C., this week for the National Governors Association meeting. He also met privately with Obama and discussed California's budget and infrastructure needs (Collins, Ventura County Star, 2/22).
