S.F. Health Panel Asks Mayor To Waive Spending Cuts
On Tuesday, the San Francisco Health Commission asked Mayor Gavin Newsom (D) to exempt the Department of Public Health from some mid-year budget cuts to help address San Francisco's projected $125 million deficit. A spokesperson for the mayor said an exemption was unlikely.
