Soda Companies Launch Campaign To Reduce Consumption of Sugary Drinks by 2025
Coca-Cola, PepsiCo and the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group have pledged to reduce by 20% the number of calories consumed by U.S. residents through sugary beverages by 2025. The new campaign will include marketing efforts to educate the public about the number of calories in certain beverages and to increase sales of lower-calorie beverages.
