Some Provisions of Reform Law Exclude Tricare Plans
A provision of the federal health reform law that requires insurers to cover members' children until they turn 26 largely does not apply to Tricare, the medical insurance program for military members and their families. House and Senate lawmakers have proposed legislation that would expand Tricare coverage to young adults who are not eligible for coverage through an employer.
