Stanford Team Creates Biosensors To Detect Diabetes
Stanford University researchers have created living biosensors that glow a color when they detect abnormal glucose levels in urine, which could be a sign of diabetes. In a research article published in the journal Science Translational Medicine, the researchers wrote that the bacterial biosensors could be faster, more cost-effective and durable than traditional diagnostic tests.
