State Seeks To Revoke Auburn Nursing Home’s License
In a relatively rare move, the state Department of Public Health is trying to revoke the license of Colonial Healthcare, an Auburn nursing home that has been cited three times for poor care related to the death of patients. A hearing on the matter already is underway, and a decision could be reached as early as this week, Kathleen Billingsley, deputy director of the health department's Center for Healthcare Quality, said.
