Study: EHR Use Improved Health Monitoring, Outcomes
Implementing electronic health record systems at 17 Kaiser Permanente Northern California facilities led to improved health monitoring and outcomes for patients who have diabetes or high cholesterol, according to a study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine. The study included data on nearly 170,000 patients and was conducted between 2004 and 2009.
