Monday
The Senate Appropriations Committee will consider AB 1749 by the Assembly Health Committee. The measure would expand the scope of some state regulations to health plans that offer individual health insurance policies.
Tuesday
The Assembly Health Committee will consider:
- SB 32 by Sen. Darrell Steinberg (D-Sacramento) to expanding children's eligibility criteria for Medi-Cal and Healthy Families, including eliminating citizenship and immigration requirements; and
- SB 840 by Sen. Sheila Kuehl (D-Los Angeles) to create a single-payer health care system in California.
Wednesday
The Legislature will not meet in observance of Independence Day.
