The Legislature will be in recess on Monday for Memorial Day.
The Senate and Assembly will hold floor sessions only. No committee hearings will be held.
The San Francisco fiscal year 2006-2007 budget proposal is due to the Board of Supervisors. The budget includes funding for student health centers and a respite hospital.
The Senate Appropriations Committee will hear several health-related bills, including SB 1414, addressing employers' spending on health care benefits, and SB 1702, which would create a prescription drug discount program.
