A panel of three federal judges will meet to consider a population cap on California's prison system. The case is based partly on concerns that overcrowding is hurting the prison health care and mental health care systems.
Thursday
The California Treasurer is scheduled to release for sale $250 million in bonds to fund the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine. The bond sale is the first to be approved under Proposition 71, the 2004 initiative that created CIRM.
Saturday
Ballots are due for the open seat on the CalPERS Board.
