The Assembly Health Committee is scheduled to discuss:
- SB 1096, which would allow pharmacies to send direct mailings to patients without prior consent; and
- SB 1415, which would require health care providers to notify patients before destroying their records.
CalPERS' Finance and Health Benefits committees are slated to hold a meeting in Sacramento.
