UC-San Francisco Medical Students To Receive College Credit for Editing Wikipedia Articles on Diseases

Starting in December, medical students at UC-San Francisco will be able to receive college credit for editing Wikipedia articles on diseases as part of an effort to improve the quality of medical articles on the online encyclopedia. The university says this is the first time students will receive college credit for such work. The course is open to fourth-year medical students.
