Universal Health Coverage, Mental Health Parity Bills in the Works
Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee Chair Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) on Tuesday said he plans to draft legislation that would provide health insurance for all U.S. residents, the AP/Boston Herald reports.
Kennedy said that he supports an extension of Medicare to all U.S. residents but added that he would consider other proposals (AP/Boston Herald, 1/10).
