On Tuesday, the U.S. Census Bureau announced that it has amended a recent report on California's tax revenues to reflect "a calculation error that cause California's sales tax to be overstated by $6.4 billion." The revised report states that tax revenues increased by 11.3% to $116.7 billion in fiscal year 2010-2011, the sixth highest jump among all states.
