Kaiser Permanente Reports Q2 Enrollee, Earnings Bump
Oakland-based Kaiser Permanente added nearly 387,000 members in the first half of 2014, with about 75% of that increase was coming from enrollment through Covered California and other insurance exchanges created under the Affordable Care Act. Meanwhile, Kaiser reported a 25% increase in earnings, reaching $1 billion in the second quarter of 2014.
