L.A. Health Advocates Launch Campaign Targeting High Blood Pressure Among Black, Latino Populations
This month, the not-for-profit Community Health Councils launched a campaign aimed at encouraging Black and Latino Los Angeles area residents to check and manage their blood pressure. The campaign, called "Know Your Digits," involves billboard advertisements and no-cost hypertension screenings at more than 40 locations, including grocery stores and public libraries.
