Sacramento First Responders Unveil Mobile App To Improve Cardiac Event Response Times
Last week, fire agencies in Sacramento unveiled a new mobile application that uses passers-by to increase response time to cardiac emergencies. The PulsePoint app sends a mobile alert to residents when someone near them needs cardiopulmonary resuscitation, allowing those trained in CPR to begin the care until medical personnel arrive.
