Santa Barbara Officials Work To Thwart TB Outbreak

Santa Barbara County Public Health Department's officials are ramping up efforts to combat tuberculosis after high school student was diagnosed with the infectious disease. County health officials have been working for the past six months to contain a potential outbreak after 26 Santa Barbara residents in 2013 were diagnosed with the disease, including eight of who were resistant to medications.
