Santa Cruz County OKs 20% Cut to Health, Other Services

On Monday, the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors approved a tentative 20% cut to not-for-profit organizations, including some that provide health services to local children, elderly and low-income residents. The cut will be included in the county budget, which the board is scheduled to consider next week.
