S.F. Struggles To Integrate Mental Health, Primary Care

San Francisco faces numerous challenges in integrating mental health and primary care services within the San Francisco Department of Public Health, according to a new report from the city Office of the Controller. San Francisco DPH Director Barbara Garcia said the department aims to have a mental health care professional in each of its primary care clinics by the end of the current fiscal year.
