Stockton Workers Accept Rise in Deductible, Copay Costs
On Saturday, Stockton city employees voted to make several adjustments to their health plan, including a $50 increase to deductibles and a $17 increase in copayments for brand-name prescription drugs. The changes will help the city avoid eight layoffs that were set to take effect last week after workers initially rejected the changes in July.
